Stick Season Landscapes inspired by Wolf Kahn

View this post on Instagram

It is “stick season” here in Vermont (at least for another hour or so— then we are moving on to full blown winter!) so it is the perfect time to learn about the artist #WolfKahn and create some colorful #chalkpastel #landscape drawings inspired by his work. Also, #novemberinvermont could use some of these bright colors, don’t you think? @faystonschool #gradesoneandtwo

I loved how his #youngartist became the self-elected curator of our mini @wolfkahn display. #gradesoneandtwo @faystonschool #elementaryart

These young artists have never been more engaged with observing and talking about art than when we looked at the work of @wolfkahn They loved making guesses about the choices the artist made and creating their own meaning and stories about each piece. #gradesoneandtwo @faystonschool
